Intimate Reception on the Lake

We had a wonderful time hosting and designing an intimate wedding reception for out sister Tami. She and Ron got married in a private ceremony in December and then waited for the beautiful spring weather to celebrate their marriage. It was a gorgeous intimate gathering of friends and family. Small bud vases hanging with crystals, wooden elegant centerpieces, rustic chalkboards and lots of flowers added the perfect touch of romance. We were lucky to have Hillary with Fearless Photography come all the way out to the middle on nowhere Alabama to capture the memories for us!!

Something Old

Back by popular demand! We stopped selling the wire wrapped wall vases for a short time, but now they are back. They have been one of our all time best sellers so we couldn't retire them forever. I have them listed in our Etsy and on our website. They look so charming hanging from trees for your outdoor wedding and reception, but look just as cute in your kitchen or bathroom.

Awesome Reclaimed Wood Centerpiece

We delivered this one of a kind centerpiece to a friend today and I was so excited about how charming it looked I wanted to share it with you. We make these from wood that came from my sister's 1800's farmhouse. This is one of the beams and you can see the nail holes and the history in the grain of the wood. You can put a candle or a bud vase in any of the holes. It looks fabulous with both flowers and candles. It is so versatile and can be used for any occasion from casual to elegant. These are custom made and can be made in different lengths. For more information just contact Jennifer and she would be happy to put her husband to work making your new centerpiece.

DON'T FORGET THE TABLE NUMBER HOLDERS

In the midst of our very busy work load this summer we had a record number of rushed orders. Many brides contacted us not realizing until the last minute that their event venue did not provide the table number holders. Of course we were happy to help them out. We have many choices from rustic to whimsical and everything in between. Our newest addition would be the adorable little chalk boards. The wood is reclaimed coming from our 1800's farmhouse. We salvaged as much as we could after loosing most of it in an electrical fire. Anyway, I am glad to use this wood and share a little piece of my house with you. There are so many creative ways to display the table number. We sent out some cards and holders last week in which the bride used locations from their college campus to mark the tables. I would love to see pictures of those tables. Don't overlook the table numbers and holders because they are a great way to integrate your personalities.
But of course, if you do forget and need help at the last minute we will be here to help you.
Just so you know, anytime you see a product on our blog that is not on our website you can find it in our Esty store!!

Funky and Fabulous! Our New Whimsical Table Number or Picture Holder

These we created while designing a custom order for a bride. We love them so much we listed them in out Etsy store.
I know that you will love them as much as we do. The wire is absolutely gorgeous. We received an or of antique looking pewter colored wire. I don't know how long it will be available, but we have enough for your fall wedding!
They are so perfect for getting creative. You could even use them as wedding favors with a little thank you card in the holder. I will be using them for teacher gifts at Christmas myself!
Let your imagination run wild!

ADD A SPLASH OF COLOR WITH BUD VASES

Wow! The tall centerpieces in contrast with the bud vase place card holders give the tables a that one-two punch of color. The gerber daisies look so cheerful and festive. Thankyou to Nicole Jenkins for the pictures.
