Zombie Wedding Photo Shoot by Sean & Amanda

Last fall we had a crazy idea to have a zombie wedding photo shoot at our new studio in Haralson. We just thought it would be something fun to do because The Walking Dead had filmed in and around our studio. We actually used the photo shoot as a fundraiser for Camp Southern Ground. It was a good time for all with music, drinks, food, music and a silent auction that raised almost $500 for Camp Southern Ground. Here are some of the amazing images captured by Sean & Amanda. Thank you to the ladies at Salon 27 that came all the way down from north Georgia to do our zombie makeup and hair. Check out the list of other amazing vendors that helped make this event a success
If you are a The Walking Dead fan you will recognize this area in Historic Haralson.
A huge thanks to Emily Holland and Kris Gilmore for being our zombie bride and groom!

Vintage Finds

We love being busy every weekend and being booked with weddings. It is not very often we have a weekend with a few free hours. So when we do have a little free time this is what we get to do. We are as passionate about our picking as we are our weddings searching high and low for the perfect unique items. This is just a little peek of this weekends treasures.

A Little Piece of History

I know that I have mentioned many times the old farmhouse that we lost in a fire and how my husband pulled apart each board and nail so we could keep a part of our house close to our heart.
We have used the wood to make farm tables, coffee tables and frames.
When we decided to make mini chalkboards we didn't realize how much of a hit that they would become. Our talented carpenter , who happens to be our father, has now spent many hours cutting each piece of wood and masterfully nailing them together creating wonderful rustic chalkboards and frames. Each piece of wood is so unique that a frame can only be made from one board or the edges will not fit smoothly. I just wanted to share a little bit of the process with you so that you can fully appreciate this little piece of history.
These adorable chalk boards are available in our Etsy store. Just click here to order.
By the way, you will absolutely love our newest creation. I will share it with you tomorrow.
