I made the form and the girls wrapped them with beaded wire. It was a very simple project for third grade girls.
Please email me at jen@thefunkyshack.com if you would like to purchase these stars to make your own ornaments. They are only $5 each!
The completed stars were so cute and the girls had so much fun making them!
I loved having a chance to disply some of my designs! Click here for step by step instructions on making a centerpiece like the one above.
Instead of using a typical place card I put a different scripture on each one. A saying or picture would be a great idea also. This is something you can do yourself on your computer with cardstock paper.
This table was beautiful drenched in chocolate brown and the topiary centerpiece was gorgeous! Click here for a closeup.
These amazing leaves came from a Magnolia tree. They are so festive!

The holidays can be the most hectic time of the year. Top that off with planning a wedding and you have a recipe for stress. Fall is the perfect time to take a break and escape from all the pressure of everyday life. Blueridge, Georgia is my favorite place to go for a quick tranquill fall weekend. The shopping is wonderfull. There are galleries with spectacular handcrafted art, homemade fudge and candies, and unique items from the local community. I always get two bags of stoneground grits, one white and one yellow. Just outside of downtown, don't miss Mercier Orchard for the Apple Cinnamon Bread and the Cinnamon Apple Cider Donuts. About an hour from Blueridge in Tennessee is the Cherokee National Forest and the Ocoee Whitewater Center. A must see when the leaves are changing. Don't put it off any longer plan a weekend to relax and rejuvinate. Happy Traveling!!!
